Proficiency 3

Proficiency:

I can effectively explain the different theories of the universe. I will discuss theories starting from Ancient Greece through the theories discussed in present day. I will analyze all theories and make a judgment based on my research on which is most valid.

What I did:

I created a Prezi to show the different theories of the creation of the universe. I included a Chinese theory, the Greek theory, the Christian theory, and the Big Bang theory.

Proficiency 2

Proficiency:
I can analyze the origins of our solar system. Starting with the sun, my research will emphasize how our solar system formed, the difference between inner and outer planets, and analyze the future of our sun and solar system.

What I did:
I created a Prezi to give information about the solar system. I talk about the history of our solar system and the future of our sun and solar system. I also talk about inner planets, outer planets, and the difference between the two.

Link to Prezi:

Problems:
The hardest information for me was finding how the solar system was formed. I found that you will only get what you are looking for if you type into Google certain key words.

Proficiency 1

Proficiency:

I can identify key technological advancements that helped in making our knowledge of space expand. My research will show the past, but I will also predict what future advancements may stretch our limits even more.

What I did:

I created an animoto to show the technological advances America has had for space travel. Also in my video is information about an upcoming event for America.

My Video:

Problems I had:

My biggest problem was deciding which space shuttles or trips I should research because there are so many. I tried to spread out the time between each space shuttle to give information over a large period of time.
